Slinky Sofa Tables is an internationally registered trademark and cannot be used commercially without the trademark owners’ permission.

Shipping

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and are usually via Auspost. Normal delivery time is 1 - 3 days though this may vary if the address is remote or if factors beyond the control of Auspost affect delivery (such as extreme weather, fire etc). Please remember it is a HUGE country!

An email will be sent to you with a tracking number once your order is picked up from our warehouse. If you do not receive an email please check that you entered the correct address and let us know if you didn't using the contact form. You can contact us using the form on the "Contact Us" tab. It also pay to check your spam settings. 

Guarantee And Returns

The item MUST be in as new condition including the Bumpers to be eligible for a refund or exchange. 

Please contact us letting us know the following: 

  • When you made your original purchase and the reason for your return.
  • Whether you want a refund or replacement.
  • If you would like a replacement be sure to state the colour you would like. We ask you pay for the return shipping and a $5 handling fee. Once the original goods are received back we will email you an invoice.
  • If you would like a refund, we will credit the card number you used to make your original purchase, excluding the shipping and a $5 handling fee.

We suggest you have any returns sent as a Tracked item as we can not be held responsible if it does not arrive.

If an item is returned to the sender as the address provided is incorrect or if your parcel has been awaiting collection for longer than two weeks then to reship the item will incur the shipping and $5 handling fee. We do not cover re-shipping costs unless the fault is ours.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, unless the fault is caused by the manufacturing process, for example, splitting/chipping of the bamboo. If the customer causes the damage or fault then we can not offer a refund or exchange.

Goods returned for replacement or refund must be in the same (new) condition, including the Bumpers, as when they were originally shipped from us. If the goods are damaged you will need to contact us by email or phone before returning. Damaged goods returned without prior contact and agreement with us regarding the circumstances of how the damage occurred may not be accepted.   

To return goods by post or courier (Please note the warehouse does not accept returns in person) with a note including your purchase details please use the contact form on this site in the first instance. We will then send you an address. 

To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We suggest you have any returns sent as a Tracked item as we can not be held responsible if it does not arrive.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, this can be an order number, a receipt or even the email address that was used on initial purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  •  Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  •  Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@slinkysofatables.com.au so that we can investigate on your behalf.

Sale items (if applicable)
Sale items are refundable/exchangeable. The only returns/exchanges we do not accept are clearance items.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We are happy to exchange items at your own shipping cost plus a $5 handling fee. If you need to exchange it for the same item or a different colour, send us an email at support@slinkysofatables.org or use the contact form on this site.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless you have received a damaged or faulty item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping plus a $5 handling fee will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $39.95, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Security

We want you to be as safe as possible while visiting this site and have done all we can to protect your privacy and security.

When you submit a form or complete a purchase a secure Shopify server is used.

We use industry standard data encryption for the transmission of any personal information including credit card details you provide online. Known as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, you can check this is active by looking for the padlock symbol on many browsers. SSL allows a secure connection between your web browser and our web server, using a private (or secret) key to encrypt information.

We use Shopify/Payment Express as a secure payment gateway for online credit card transactions.

We do not store your credit card details online. All credit card transactions are processed online in realtime and protected by industry security standards. If any credit card details are auto-fulfiled when purchasing that is due to the web browser that you are using. Google Chrome is a great example of a browser that saves card information.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. We are fully committed to protecting the confidentiality, security, and privacy of all your information.  We only use the information you provide to fulfill your order and we only collect your email address with your permission to keep you up to date with offers and special promotions and to confirm your order.
